EXCLUSIVE: We’ll be seeing more of Prince John in the upcoming second season of MGM+‘s action drama Robin Hood, an indication that the royal power struggle could soon explode.
Graeme Thomas King, who recurred as Prince John in Season 1, has been promoted to series regular for Season 2. Prince John is the cunning younger son of King Henry II whose ambition and shifting loyalties intensify the kingdom’s growing power struggle.
Per the official logline, Season 2 expands the world beyond Sherwood and Nottingham into the treacherous courts of England, France, and Rome, transforming the outlaw rebellion into a high stakes battle for the soul of a kingdom. As the Angevin empire threatens to tear itself apart, Rob and Marian are drawn into the orbit of kings and queens, forced to wield the very instruments of Norman power to secure a future for the Saxons.

King, known for his series regular role on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, was recently seen in Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff series Knuckles on Paramount+. He’s repped by The BWH Agency, Buchwald and Alan Siegel Entertainment.
