“May I speak plainly?” asks a sombre Harry Da Souza, addressing mob boss Conrad. “This family is in a death spiral.”
The out-of-control actions of Conrad Harrigan’s gang will be central to the second season of Paramount+ breakout crime drama MobLand, as you can see from the official trailer above.
Launching on September 18, the Guy Ritchie-helmed show follows Harry (Tom Hardy), a loyal ‘fixer’ for Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and the London underworld boss’s wife, Maeve (Helen Mirren). Paramount promises “chaos will reign” as the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front in the face of rivals.
The trailer shows war brewing, as Conrad spirals and even turns the likes of his son, Kevin (Paddy Considine), against him. The menacing presence of international cartel operator Kat McAllister (Janet McTeer) looms over the family, new gangster threat (Johnny Flynn) warns the “fairytale’s over” and corrupt retired police detective Colin Tattershall (Toby Jones) tells a contact “there’s been an exciting development.”
Also starring in Season 2 are Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan and Ophelia Lovibond.

The new season had its own internal conflicts, with lead Hardy initially walking away, reportedly over friction with producers and showrunner and writer Jez Butterworth. However, he ultimately returned after outreach settled the issues.
Season 2 debuts on September 18, with new episodes of the ten-part run dropping each Friday to November 20. Season one, which streams on Paramount+, will be made available ahead of the launch free on the streaming service’s Free Content Hub on August 18 and then on August 31 on on Pluto TV, Paramount+ channels on Amazon, Apple and Roku. Paramount+’s YouTube channel will add it until September 30.
