EXCLUSIVE: Grammy Award-winning artist Meghan Trainor has signed with United Talent Agency for representation in all areas. The agency will work to secure opportunities across live touring, filmed entertainment, digital media, theatre, brand partnerships, and more.
Trainor’s signing with UTA follows a particularly busy year, which kicked off with the release of Ryan Murphy’s FX series The Beauty, in which she made her on-screen acting debut playing Condé Nast employee Brittany. She had a guest-starring role in the series set in the world of high fashion, which turned dark when international supermodels began dying in gruesome and mysterious ways. Trainor followed that achievement with the release of her seventh studio album “Toy With Me” in April.
The Massachusetts native became a pop star to watch with her debut album “Title,” which featured her breakout hit single All About That Bass. Not only did the track help Trainor land a recording contract with Epic Records, but it became the anthem for curvy and plus-sized women who felt empowered by her lyrics. All About That Bass achieved diamond-certified status and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 47 weeks. “Title” also featured the bubbly Dear Future Husband, as well as the Hot 100 Top 10 hits Lips Are Movin and Like I’m Gonna Lose You, featuring John Legend. The success she achieved with her debut album put her on the path toward the coveted Grammy Award, which she received in 2016 for Best New Artist.

Across her musical career as a solo artist, Trainor released 5 additional studio albums with hit singles of their own: “Thank You” (2016), which featured the hit No that peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, “Treat Myself” (2020), “A Very Trainor Christmas” (2020), “Takin’ It Back” (2022), and “Timeless” (2024). Trainor was honored with the Hitmaker Award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event.
In addition to acting and singing, Trainor has served as a judge, coach, mentor, and advisor on NBC’s The Voice, BBC One’s The Voice UK, Fox’s The Four, Network Ten’s Australian Idol, among others. She also became a published author in 2023 with the release of her motherhood memoir Dear Future Mama: A TMI Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Motherhood from Your Bestie.
Up next, the singer-songwriter will write and produce original songs for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s Margie Claus, a holiday film starring Melissa McCarthy. She will work closely alongside the film’s screenwriters, Ben Falcone and Damon Jones, on the November 12, 2027 release.
Trainor will continue to be managed by Nikola Barisic of Bond Artist Management and represented by Aaron Rosenberg of Myman Greenspan Fox Rosenberg.
