Following one of the biggest twists in Big Brother history, Julie Chen Moonves returned for another live episode where a new houseguest was voted out.
After Haley Thogmartin was voted out in a twist that saw BB legends return to host the competition, a new Head of Household (HOH) was crowned soon after.
After being on the block last week, Drew Campbell won HOH and would be safe for the week. As HOH, Drew put three fellow houseguests on the block, and they would face eviction.
La Trice Verrett, Taylor Brown and Yash Patel were at risk of being evicted in Week 8 and becoming the first member of the jury. One of them still had the possibility of being removed from the block as the Power of Veto competition was at play. Following the challenge, Yash won the Veto and took himself off the block, granting himself safety for the week.

Survivor alum Rick Devens volunteered to be named the replacement nominee, putting his game at risk but staying in line with not making it to the final of the competitions he’s participated in.

Who won safety in the BB Block Buster competition in Week 8?
La Trice, Taylor, and Devens entered the BB Block Buster competition, and after a close race, Devens won the safety and would not face the houseguest vote.
