According to data from the IndexBox platform, this injection of capital is expected to provide a significant boost to the UK’s financial services trade balance, which has been a key component of the nation’s exports. The deal is projected to secure £20 billion in trade between the two nations, with an anticipated £7 billion commitment from asset management firm BlackRock for its UK expansion.

Bank of America will establish its first-ever operation in Northern Ireland, creating up to 1,000 new jobs in Belfast. Citigroup is to invest £1.1 billion across its UK operations, while S&P Global will create 200 permanent jobs in Manchester through a £4 million investment.
