Thirty years after he starred as a dad on a mission to secure his son a sold-out action toy in Jingle All The Way, Arnold Schwarzenegger has returned to the Christmas movie genre, this time as the man in the red suit.
Schwarzenegger is starring as Santa in The Man With The Bag for Amazon MGM Studios which has unveiled a first trailer ahead of the picture’s launch on Amazon Prime on December 2.
The action revolves around the theft of Santa’s magic bag by a naughty elf, forcing him to enlist the help of a thief called Vance, played by Reacher star Alan Ritchson, to get it back. Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfits, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas.
Schwarzenegger and Ritchson are joined in the cast by Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski, with Ken Jeong and Awkwafina.

Adam Shankman directed the film from a script penned by Allan Rice. The producers include Lawrence Grey, Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman, Dan Spilo, and Alan Ritchson.
The Man With The Bag follows in the wake of Amazon MGM Studios holiday comedies Candy Cane Lane (2023), starring Eddie Murphy; Red One (2024), featuring an ensemble cast topped by Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans, and Oh. What. Fun (2025) with Michelle Pfeiffer and Felicity Jones.
