‘Friday Night Lights’: Aimee Teegarden & Zach Gilford Set For Los Angeles Stop On 20th Anniversary Roadshow

EXCLUSIVE: Julie Taylor and Matt Saracen are reuniting in Los Angeles next week.

Friday Night Lights alum Aimee Teegarden and Zach Gilford are set to join their former co-star Adrianne Palicki for the SoCal stop on the series’ 20th anniversary roadshow hosted by Plex and ATX TV, Deadline can exclusively reveal.

The tour stop will include an episode screening. For the occasion, Teegarden has selected Season 1, Episode 10: “It’s Different for Girls” — an apt choice given Julie and Matt’s relationship is at the forefront of the episode.

Following the episode, the trio will participate in a moderated Q&A in front of a theatre full of fans.

The event will take place on July 21 at 7 p.m. PT at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles.

The Friday Night Lights 20th anniversary roadshow kicked off earlier this month in Texas with stops in Dallas and San Antonio. After Los Angeles, the tour heads to the east coast for stop a stop in Brooklyn, New York before ending in Kansas City, Missouri at the Full Tilt Film Festival.

For a taste of what to expect from these conversations, ATX TV has also released its Member Rewind TV Club discussion from this year’s ATX TV Festival, which featured Palicki (who played Tyra Collette) and Scott Porter (aka Jason Street) looking back at the series that shaped them.

The intimate, hour-long discussion at the Season 15 event was open to ATX TV members, who ranked the Friday Night Lights pilot as one of the best.

“My first pilot season, the fourth pilot I ever auditioned for, was this show,” Porter revealed to members at the time.
