Forensic scientist Trevor Naleid testified about evidence collected in the case against Zachariah Rasch, who is accused of killing his estranged wife, Crystal Rasch, and burning her remains. Naleid told jurors that investigators found a significant amount of reddish-brown staining on a seat and seat belt inside a vehicle belonging to Zachariah. According to his testimony, the stains tested positive for human blood. Zachariah is charged with Crystal’s murder, and her remains were later recovered from a burn pit on the couple’s property.
