EXCLUSIVE: A24 on Thursday announced No One Is Coming, a new Anglo-Irish horror film from Ronan Corrigan, to star Louis McCartney (Stranger Things: The First Shadow), Jessica Reynolds (A Woman of Substance), Sky Yang (Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow), and Gabriel Nagy (Extra Geography).
Plot and character details are being kept under wraps.
Corrigan is the Irish multi-hyphenate whose feature directorial debut, the screenlife action thriller LifeHack, premiered to critical acclaim at last year’s SXSW Film Festival, earning nominations for both Breakthrough Producer and Best Editing at the British Independent Film Awards.
Corrigan directs from a script co-written with LifeHack collaborator Hope Elliott Kemp. The film is developed and co-financed by Film4, with additional financing provided by Screen Ireland. Continuing its collaboration with A24 following projects like Moonlight, Minari and the upcoming Chaperones, Plan B is producing alongside Wild Atlantic (Other Mommy, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy).

Irish actor McCartney is best known for originating the role of Henry Creel in West End and Broadway productions of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Lead Actor in a Play. Soon to be seen playing Ringo Starr in the new BBC One series Hamburg Days on the Beatles’ early years, he is represented by Independent Talent Group and Michael Auerbach.
Reynolds is an Irish actress who starred in Corrigan’s LifeHack and has also been seen on shows like Outlander, House of Guinness and Channel 4’s recent A Woman of Substance. She also appears in the Sundance flick Kneecap on the same-name Irish hip-hop trio and is repped by B-Side Management.
British actor Yang appears alongside Andrew Garfield in Focus Features’ The Uprising. Past credits include Jan Komasa’s Anniversary, Corin Hardy’s horror Whistle, the lead role in Justin Lin’s Last Days and the Rebel Moon films from Zack Snyder. Upcoming, he’ll be seen in Paramount+’s The Best of Us (fka 9/12), Siân Heder’s Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow for Paramount, and more. He is repped by Independent Talent Group, Range Media Partners, Michael Auerbach and Pippa Beng.
Seen in Molly Manner’s recent Sundance title Extra Geography, Nagy is repped by Waring McKenna and Gersh.
Corrigan is repped by UTA and Independent Talent Group, which also reps Kemp.
