Ample Entertainment, the production company behind series such as Netflix’s Amy Bradley Is Missing and HBO’s The Invisible Pilot, is getting into the YouTube craze.

The company is launching its own YouTube channel and producing a range of non-fiction originals. It becomes the latest non-scripted company to eye the Google-owned free streamer as a home for new IP.

It is launching Ample Originals with two series: Ample Investigates and Somebody Knows Something.

Ample Investigates revisits “zeitgeisty crime stories through present-tense investigation, new revelations and unexpected characters.”

Chamberlain will be joined by special guests to recap the cases, investigations and conversations behind each episode. The series will premiere on August 10.

Ample also produces Netflix’s This Is the Zodiac Speaking, Peacock’s Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy and ID’s Hollywood Demons. It previously produced Could You Survive the Movies? for YouTube Originals when the company was funding original series.

“I’ve always wanted to build a platform that lets us bring original content directly to consumers that is curated, thoughtful and high quality,” said Ari Mark, CEO, Ample Entertainment. “This channelgives us another way to expand the reach of our storytelling and create a home for original ideas at every stage of development. They allow us to experiment, collaborate with creators and build lasting communities around our work, all while complementing the premium programming we continue to produce for our broadcast and streaming partners. The audience is smart and they want to consume content that’s top shelf. We can offer that.”
