‘Anna Pigeon’ Debuts To 8-Year Ratings High For USA Scripted Originals

Anna Pigeon is forging a solid path for itself since premiering last week.

The series has debuted as the highest-rated USA original scripted series premiere in nearly eight years and a top new entry on ad-supported cable both in total viewers and in the 18-49 demo, per Nielsen Big Data + Panel.

In the three days post-August 7 premiere, Anna Pigeon averaged 2.25 million total viewers with 269,000 in the key demo across USA, E! and SYFY.

Anna Pigeon is also securing traction on social media, earning 9.5 million impressions from the first trailer release to-date.

The series follows Anna Pigeon (Tracy Spiridakos), a former city slicker who became a park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever. While Anna tries to outrun her demons, her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way. The show is based on the New York Times best-selling novels by Nevada Barr. Additional cast members include Ronnie Rowe, Paulina Alexis, Tricia Helfer, Kim Coates, Cooper Levy, Melanie Scrofano, Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Jordan Sledz, Ryan Northcott, Crystle Lightning and Nikki Hallow. 

Anna Pigeon is produced by Cineflix, December Films and SEVEN24 Films for USA Network in association with Bell Media. Morwyn Brebner serves as showrunner, with Lea Thompson directing. Brebner and Thompson executive produce alongside Todd Berger, Brett Burlock, Sonia Hosko, Julie Di Cresce, Peter Emerson, Gordon Gilbertson, Tom Cox and Jordy Randall.
