KC Global Media Asia is in pre-production on reality series Rice To Riches, to be co-produced and hosted by DJ and producer Kim Lee, who won a new legion of fans following her appearances in Netflix show Bling Empire.
Rice To Riches is described as “an uplifting masterclass on how content creators make an income and monetize their social media into brand deals and original products.”
The show will have Lee exploring the Asian content creator world – visiting the homes, production spaces and offices of leading creators to get the inside scoop on their early professional lives and how each of them have become influencers and financial powerhouses.
The eight-episode first season will feature nine content creators including Michael Le from the U.S., Jestinna & Christinna Kuan from Malaysia, and Kevin Ninh from the U.S., with more creators to be announced in the coming weeks. Production is taking place in the U.S. and Asia beginning in October.

A Los Angeles native, Lee is also known for appearances in Yo! MTV Raps Asia, and Prime’s CryptoKnights. As a DJ, she has toured and done shows with Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Diplo and Skrillex.
