Valtteri Bottas is taking an adventurous route to reach F1Singapore GP from Malaysia, as he cycles his way from one country to another.
The distance between Malaysia and Singapore is approximately over 350 kilometers and Cadillac’s Bottas is taking an arduous route to reach the next F1 grand prix destination. It was an early end for the Finn at the Bahrain GP, after a spin onto the gravel.
It is not that he decided to take the cycle route then, but Bottas was spotted by a few fans outside the Sepang circuit in his cycle gear trying to make through the post-F1 grand prix traffic and then it came to light that the Finn was cycling from Malaysia to reach Singapore.
Yea I’m riding to Singapore
On the gravel roads less travelled with my new @canyon_bikes Grail CFR.

Journey Covered by Bottas Already
He posted on his cycle-related app about the first day’s journey of covering about 56.60 km, but followed it by covering 161.9 km on the second day. He rode for just over 2 hours on Day 1 on Sunday after the grand prix and rode for over 5.5 hours on Day 2 on a full day on Monday.
The F1 race winner is more than halfway through his journey and should arrive on Tuesday itself if he decides to complete his journey to rest up on Wednesday. It is a bold step from Bottas, who really likes to cycle and has competed in events in his off-F1 time, like triathlon.
Apart from a fascination with coffee, Bottas has an extreme love for cycling, especially with his girlfriend, Tiffany Cormwell, who is an Australian cyclist and has represented her country in the Olympics and Commonwealth Games apart from other world championships of cycling.
After a lack of racing laps in Malaysia, Bottas is making the perfect preparation to race on the streets of Singapore, where he will not get enough time to get used to the circuit since it is a sprint F1 weekend.
