McTiernan has had several of her previous projects optioned, including debut novel The Ruin, which was set at Colin Farrell’s production house, Chapel Place Productions, back in 2019. Her thrillers What Happened to Nina? and The Murder Rule were also developed for screen, the latter at FX.
“From the moment I first read Three Reasons for Revenge I immediately envisaged it as a television series,” said writer Grant. “It is a supremely crafted thriller full of surprises, and I thank Dervla for entrusting Easy Tiger and myself with her creation.”
“There’s no doubt Dervla’s highly entertaining book will find a place not only on your shelves but on your TV screen,” added Rob Gibson, CEO of Easy Tiger. “Dervla is a master at creating a gripping thriller plot and Shaun is the perfect writer to adapt her book. We’re so delighted to be working with them both.”
