The newest case will take the crew overseas, which Deadline first reported. Fresh on the heels of Season 5’s finale, the series was renewed for a sixth season.

With its trip across the pond, the sixth season of the murder mystery series has added quite a few British and Irish stars to its cast, including David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan, Jodie Whittaker, Jim Broadbent, Richard Ayoade, Adrian Lukis and Kathryn Hunter. Coughlan posted on Instagram that she has wrapped her time in production on the show.
Deadline also broke the news that Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous), Sean Teale (Skins), Simone Ashley (Bridgerton), Amar Chadha-Patel (Willow), Rhea Norwood (Heartstopper), Matthew Beard (The Imitation Game) and Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters) have been cast in recurring guest star roles in season six of Only Murders In The Building.

Season 4 of the cozy murder mystery comedy show spent some time in Los Angeles, marking the first alternate location.
“London is New York’s sister city. There will be all sorts of connectors,” co-creator John Hoffman told Deadline. “We will take our storytelling and steep it into this new culture and our trio will be fish in new waters.”
Hoffman also clarified that London will be the sole setting.

Mayor Beau Tillman (Keegan-Michael Key) turned out to be the murderer. He killed Lester to protect his trio of billionaire friends Camilla White (Renée Zellweger), Bash Steed (Christoph Waltz) and Jay Pflug (Logan Lerman) and their plans for the casino in the basement of the Arconia.
Lester killed Nicky, who cleaved off the mysterious finger belonging to the mayor that set off the investigation from Oliver’s shrimp.
Who is the murder victim for Season 6 of Only Murders in the Building?
Tina Fey’s Cinda Canning, or someone who looks a lot like her plus a red curly-haired wig, returned for the Season 5 finale as the next victim. Technically, she died at the gates of the Arconia.
“The character of Cinda started everything, so we’re going back to the beginning. So the nature of what she’s doing, what she is doing over in England, doing this thing now, why? I got to know more about it,” Hoffman said. “It’s an opportunity to tease something that opens up a whole new mystery in the home of the cozy murder mystery, which felt very exciting.”
