Gabriel Luna Enters His Serial Killer Era With ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 Casting

Gabriel Luna has joined the cast of ‘s Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, guest starring as serial killer Ray Ballard, who operates under the name The Sleepy-Eyed Stranger.   

In addition to Luna, the previously announced Season 2 cast will also include Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Uma Thurman will reprise her role as Charley, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon, and Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona Mixon. Krysten Ritter will guest star in Season 2.

From showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, Season 1 of Dexter: Resurrection takes place weeks after Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right.

From Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios, Dexter: Resurrection is executive produced by Phillips, who also serves as showrunner, Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. Additional executive producers include John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, along with Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean & Katrina Mathewson.

Luna is repped by UTA, Entertainment 360, and Ziffren Brittenham.
