Mandarin Vision
Taiwanese production and sales outfit Mandarin Vision has acquired worldwide sales rights (excluding Taiwan and China) for Lee Yun Chan’s To Be Ordinary, which is set to receive its world premiere in competition at Busan International Film Festival.
Starring Weber Yang and Chang Shih Ying (Yen And Ai-Lee), the film depicts a grieving family that struggles to recover from a fragile relationship after an unexpected tragic accident.
The Busan selection marks the third time that Lee (a.k.a. Robin Lee) has been in competition at the festival. Her short film The Magical Washing Machine (2005) was selected for the Wide Angle competition, while her debut feature film, The Shoe Fairy (2005), was selected for New Currents.
More recently Lee directed the 11-part series Women In Taipei, starring Gwei Lun-Mei and Kimi Hsia, which streamed on Disney+ and Hulu.

Roy Chiu (Girl) and Alice Ko (Someday Or One Day) head the cast of the film, produced by Yeh Jufeng, who also produced Taiwan’s Oscars submission A Foggy Tale and Shu Qi’s Girl.
Anthill is currently in post-production and scheduled for a 2027 release.
