MS NOW has scheduled its next major live event for Sept. 26 in Texas, with more than a dozen of its hosts to appear at the pre-midterm gathering.
MS NOW Live: Together in Texas will take place at College Park Center at the University of Texas at Arlington, just outside of Dallas, the network said. Under its previous brand of MSNBC, the network had held fall live events in New York.
Among those scheduled to appear are Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jen Psaki, Stephanie Ruhle, Ali Velshi, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez, Jacob Soboroff, Eugene Daniels, Michael Steele, Luke Russert and Al Sharpton. The plans are for a lineup of guests, a dinner, conversations between hosts and taping of the podcast Clock It with Symone & Eugene. Tickets — ranging in price from $30.75 to $398.50 — include a subscription to the network’s upcoming membership offering to debut later this summer.
MS NOW President Rebecca Kutler wrote in a memo of the live event, “There’s no better place to do it.

“Texas sits at the center of many of the defining conversations shaping this election cycle and our country, from democracy and voting rights to immigration, education, and the economy. As those conversations continue to unfold, we want to be there, not only to cover them but to bring our community together in the places where those stories are happening.” Lauren Peikoff is the executive producer of live events, and Marcus Mabry is the senior VP of content strategy.
