EXCLUSIVE: Netflix is bringing yet another internet star’s offerings to the premium subscription service.
The streamer has struck a deal with celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni to bring his YouTube content to the platform later this year, Deadline can reveal exclusively.
Audiences will soon be able to watch DiGiovanni’s entire back catalogue of cooking videos, as well as all new content from both the “Nick DiGiovanni” and “Nick’s Kitchen” channels, which will drop on Netflix day-and-date with YouTube.
“Food brings people together — that’s been my mission from day one. With Netflix, the table gets a whole lot bigger, and everyone’s invited,” DiGiovanni said in a statement on Tuesday.
DiGiovanni boasts more than 60M followers across social media platforms. This deal is yet another example of Netflix’s recent push into podcasts, which has long been a big viewing category on YouTube.

The news of the deal with DiGiovanni comes just one day after Netflix announced plans to bring Rhett McLaughlin & Link Neal’s popular YouTube series Good Mythical Morning to the platform. Two additional titles from the pair’s Mythical Entertainment production arm, Mythical Kitchen and Last Meals, will also soon begin streaming on Netflix.
Beginning September 7, all three Mythical offerings will be available on Netflix, including the entire back catalogue and new episodes day-and-date with YouTube.
This is just the latest step in Netflix’s evolution toward internet-forward video content. Last month, iHeartMedia and Netflix announced the next phase of their exclusive video podcast partnership with the addition of a new collection of iHeartPodcasts featuring Martha Stewart, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, and Lele Pons. The streamer also recently struck a live daily video deal for The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Jess Hilarious.
