Off Campus breakout Stephen Kalyn has closed a deal to join Lionsgate’s The Housemaid’s Secret starring Sydney Sweeney. Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Snow and Paul Anthony Kelly are also on board with Paul Feig directing.
Producers include Hidden Pictures’ Todd Lieberman; Pretty Dangerous Pictures’ Laura Fischer and Feig, and Honey Trap’s Sweeney.
In The Housemaid’s Secret, Millie Calloway (Sweeney) returns, taking a job keeping house for a woman she’s never allowed to see, only to discover the truth behind the locked door that threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.
Screenwriter Rebecca Sonnenshine, who adapted the first book, will also return to adapt The Housemaid’s Secret. Carly Elter, who oversaw the first movie for Hidden Pictures, is returning as executive producer. Alex Young of Hidden Pictures will also executive produce. Honey Trap’s Kaylee McGregor will co-produce.

Chelsea Kujawa and Maria Ascanio are overseeing the film for Lionsgate. Robert Melnik negotiated the deal on behalf of the studio.
Kalyn is best-known for his breakout role on Amazon Prime Video’s global hit series Off Campus, in addition to his stints on Gen V, Cruel Intentions, and Motorheads. He is represented by CAA, Play Management, Thruline Entertainment and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher
