FAQs

Does Pearl iZUMi offer free shipping?

Yes! PEARL iZUMi offers free FedEx Ground Economy shipping on all orders over $99. If your order is under $99, then there’s a flat shipping fee of $9.99.

Free Ground Economy shipping cannot be used for PO Boxes, APO/DPO addresses, or shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, which require expedited shipping.

What is the PEARL iZUMi warranty policy?

PEARL iZUMi gear comes with a lifetime warranty that protects against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. If your apparel fails due to a manufacturing flaw, PEARL iZUMi will repair or replace it. However, this warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects and does not apply to normal wear and tear, improper washing, modifications, or crash damage.

Do PEARL iZUMi shoes run small?

Yes, PEARL iZUMi cycling shoes generally run small compared to standard street shoes and even some other cycling brands like Shimano. For example, we at Cycling Weekly reviewed the PEARL IZUMi Select Road shoes, and they ran a size smaller.

Does PEARL IZUMi make running shoes?

No, PEARL iZUMi does not make running shoes anymore, they did used to sell running shoes, such as their E:Motion (EM) road and trail running lines, but in 2017 PEARL IZUMi decided to focus wholly on cycling.

Pearl iZUMi Saving Tips

Sign Up for the Newsletter

New customers can get a 15% discount on their first order simply by signing up for the PEARL iZUMi email newsletter. This is the fastest way to get savings on full-priced gear. You’ll also get notifications for massive seasonal sales, flash deals, and major holiday events, so you never miss a chance to save.

Shop the Archive

Before paying full price, always check the Archive directly on the PEARL iZUMi website, which is essentially their clearance section. Because cycling apparel is very seasonal, there are often big discounts on older inventory to make room for new gear. You can find premium bib shorts, winter cycling jackets, and mountain bike jerseys up to 50% off.

Crash Replacement Program

Crashing is an unfortunate reality of cycling, and ripping a brand-new, expensive cycling kit is heartbreaking. Instead of paying full price for a fresh set, take advantage of PEARL iZUMi’s Crash Replacement program. If you tear up your gear in a wreck, email their US customer service team with photos of the damaged item with the subject line “Crash Replacement.” If approved, they will send you a 30% discount code to use toward a replacement item.

How we source coupon codes

Cycling Weekly has a dedicated Coupons team that sources codes and regularly updates pages to show the most recent deals and info. We curate all of our pages ourselves – no third parties are involved in creating our content or sourcing our codes and deals.

Our Commercial team keeps close ties with affiliate networks and trusted brands, using these relationships to source exclusive offers, whilst our Offers team scours retailer and competitor websites to find the latest codes, testing them at the checkout as they go.

We then upload the best discounts to our pages, along with helpful info on sales and shipping, membership programs, military and student discounts, and insider tips from industry experts. Our pages are also refreshed multiple times a week to ensure they remain up to date with the latest ways to save.

How we test coupon codes

Our dedicated Coupons team checks the web and our affiliate networks regularly to ensure we’re uploading the latest deals and information, including expiry dates and terms and conditions for individual codes. All codes are verified by hand-testing them at checkout, as if we were placing an order, to ensure they can be applied. Codes are uploaded only once we know they work as intended, and to ensure anyone who visits Cycling Weekly can use one of our codes, we don’t include any one-time-use or user-specific codes on our pages.

What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work

Although our team tests every code before it is uploaded, codes can sometimes expire or have their terms updated before we have a chance to update our pages, which can mean your code doesn’t work as anticipated. If you run into any issues using a code at checkout, our team is available to support.

The first step is to check the terms and conditions of the individual offer you’re trying to redeem. Head back to the page on which you found your code and click the text that reads “See Terms & Conditions”. This will reveal any specific requirements you may need to meet, which might include verification (i.e. for student discounts), meeting a minimum spend (i.e. $50 off when you spend $300 or more), or buying certain combinations of items in the same order (i.e. free accessories with every e-bike).

If you’ve checked the relevant terms and conditions of your offer and found that you meet them, but are still experiencing issues, contact our team for support. Make sure to include details of the code you tried to use, which of our pages it was listed on, and a summary of the issue you experienced in your email, and our team will be in touch as soon as they can to help.

How we make money

Whenever you use a coupon code listed on Cycling Weekly, we may receive compensation in the form of commission if you go on to make a purchase. The amount of commission we earn will depend on the retailer you place an order with and our relationship with them.

By adopting this commission model, we can offer our coupons at no cost to you, so you don’t pay any fees to get a discount on your order. You’ll just need to pay the discounted total for your order once your code has been applied.

If you want to find out more about how coupon pages work on Cycling Weekly, you can visit our dedicated page on How We Source Coupon Codes and How to Use Them for more information.
