Closing arguments in the trial against Kevin Lychwick began on Thursday. Lychwick is accused of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse in the death of his neighbor, Carlos Maldonado. The State argued that projectiles found in Maldonado’s decomposed body were fired from a gun that had Lychwick’s “DNA all over it.” Lychwick, who’s representing himself, countered by saying, “I did not know this man well enough to hurt him.” (6/11/26)
