Production Agent Louiza Vick Joins WME After 16 Years At WPA

EXCLUSIVE: Veteran production agent Louiza Vick has joined WME following a 16-year run at below-the-line agency WPA, where she most recently served as Partner and Co-Head of the Motion Pictures Department.

At WME, Vick will focus on representing leading physical-production filmmakers and creative talent across film and television. Among the clients she’s bringing over are production designer Danny Vermette (Backrooms, Longlegs); director of photography Brett Pawlak (Spider-Man: Brand New Day), a frequent collaborator of Destin Daniel Cretton’s; director of photography James Whitaker, who just won an Emmy for his work on HBO’s DTF St. Louis; and Ryan Coogler’s collaborator, editor Michael P. Shawver, who this year landed his first Oscar nomination for his contributions to his Warner Bros. smash Sinners.

During her time at WPA, Vick helped grow the agency’s Motion Pictures division, expand its roster and build out its representation of editors. A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, she began her career in commercial production with Anonymous Content, The Directors Bureau and Caviar, later serving as a development consultant for Sony Television International’s Russian programming division before becoming an agent.

Vick’s arrival at WME builds on recent momentum for the agency’s production department, including Emmy wins for Darran Tiernan (Director of Photography, Spider-Noir), Howard Cummings (Production Designer, Fallout), Christian Sprenger (Director of Photography, Widow’s Bay) and Betsy Patterson (VFX Supervisor, Stranger Things), as well as Oscar wins for director of photography Lol Crawley (The Brutalist) and editor Jennifer Lame (Oppenheimer). The department also reps Joanne Toll and Todd King — Co-Executive Producer and Co-Producer/UPM on Widow’s Bay — and DTF St. Louis UPM/EP Mike Nelson.
