EXCLUSIVE: Scarlet Stallone and Fears To Fathom creator Rayll have teamed to bring the horror video game franchise to the screen. Stallone’s SRYN Productions has optioned the rights to the franchise for film and television development.
Created by Mukul Negi, professionally known as Rayll, the Fears To Fathom franchise is an anthology of standalone psychological horror stories inspired by frightening real-life experiences. Rather than relying on supernatural creatures or elaborate mythology, Fears to Fathom builds suspense around seemingly ordinary situations that take increasingly terrifying turns.
The franchise is comprised of Home Alone, Norwood Hitchhike, Carson House, Ironbark Lookout, Woodbury Getaway and Scratch Creek, each following a different protagonist. Since its launch in 2021, the brand has developed a substantial international following. Its first installment, Home Alone, has surpassed 2.3 million downloads on Steam, while subsequent paid installments have collectively sold more than 1.25 million copies.

“I’ve been playing video games since before I could read, and the first time I played Fears to Fathom, I was hooked. I’ve played every one since,” said Stallone. “Rayll’s games are grounded and genuinely unsettling, because the horror comes from situations that could actually happen to you. I love working with Rayll; we’re a great team, and I’m so excited to expand that world while keeping what fans love.”
“I started Fears to Fathom as a very personal project, so seeing how far it has grown and how strongly people around the world have connected with these stories has been surreal, said Rayll. “Scarlet immediately understood that what makes Fears to Fathom work isn’t just the scares — it’s the feeling that these situations could happen to anyone. I’m excited to work with her and SRYN Productions to bring that same tension and authenticity to a new medium.”
As an actor, Stallone portrays Spencer in Taylor Sheridan’s hit Paramount+ crime drama Tulsa King. She has also written several original screenplays and is developing a slate of character-driven film and television projects through SRYN, with a focus on distinctive intellectual property and emerging creative voices.
A self-taught developer writer and director, Rayll began creating games at around 12 years old. He first became known in 2017 with his award-winning puzzle game Loopables. He developed the first installment of Fears to Fathom while attending Delhi Technological University and founded Rayll Studios in 2023.
