It’s official. Netflix has renewed Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for a third season, with Ritchie returning to direct. The news comes as we previously exclusively reported that Meghan Markle is in talks to join the series in Season 3.
The streamer also released the full trailer for Season 2, ahead of its September 3 premiere.
The trailer features returning Theo James (The Monkey, The White Lotus), Kaya Scodelario (Senna, Crawl), Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast, Nil By Mouth), Joely Richardson (Ballad of Renegade Nell, One Day), and Vinnie Jones (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch), Jasmine Blackborow (Legends, Marie Antoinette), Michael Vu (Sumotherhood, In The Grey), Daniel Ings (I Hate Suzie), Harry Goodwins (One Spoon of Chocolate, Sunset Drive), Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley (The Detectorists, Showtrial) and Giancarlo Esposito (The Residence, Captain America: Brave New World).
All reprise their roles in the upcoming season which is set “from the country piles of England to the majestic Italian lakes. This time ambition can’t be tamed…and there’s all to play for…”, according to the logline.

Also featuring in the new series are previously announced cast; Hugh Bonneville (I Came By, The Agency), Benjamin Clementine (Dune, Blitz), Benedetta Porcaroli (The Leopard, Amanda), Michele Morrone (Another Simple Favour, The Housemaid), Sergio Castellitto (The Star Maker, Conclave), Amra Mallassi (Dune: Part Two, Hijack), Tyler Conti (Tell Me Everything, Safe), British professional boxerChris Eubank Jr and TV host, broadcaster and entrepreneur Maya Jama.
“The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight,” said Ritchie. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”

The Gentlemen is created by Ritchie, who serves as writer alongside Matthew Read. Ritchie and Eran Creevy direct. The series is executive produced by Ritchie, Will Gould, Read, Frith Tiplady, Simon Crawford Collins for Moonage Pictures and Ivan Atkinson. Laura Jackson and Max Keene produce.
