Tri-Star is said to be looking to hit the ground running on the filmmaker search to bring Cartoon Cat to life. The menacing cat is described as an ancient hollow rot that uses the collective human awareness and memories of old cartoons as a passageway to manifest into our reality – and wreak violent havoc. Nicole Brown and Malcolm Gray of Tri-Star are responsible for wrangling the evil cat and will oversee its fast- tracked development.
Sony Pictures has a long-standing relationship with Henderson, as he did concept art on Screen Gems’ Tarot, and represents a further investment into Trevor as a creator, and the broader creator-led space.
Henderson is repped by Verve, Josh Dove and Marios Rush.
