President Donald Trump has unveiled a comprehensive strategy to propel the United States to the forefront of the global artificial intelligence race. In a recent appearance on “Fox & Friends”, Meta’s Chief Global Affairs Officer Joel Kaplan expressed strong support for Trump’s initiative, calling it “incredibly important.” The plan aims to harness American innovation to secure global leadership in AI.

At a tech summit in Washington, President Trump declared, “America is the country that started the AI race, and as President of the United States, I’m here today to declare that America is going to win it.” The strategy outlines efforts to boost innovation, enhance U.S. infrastructure, and set international standards for AI development and security.

Kaplan noted that China is America’s main competitor in the AI arena, underscoring the importance of initiatives like Trump’s to maintain a competitive edge. As the AI landscape evolves, the U.S. aims to lead in setting the standards and frameworks that will guide future developments.
