In a recent evaluation of global airport performance, Newark Liberty International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport have been identified as two of the lowest-ranking airports in the United States. According to Fox Business, the AirHelp Score report placed Newark Liberty at the bottom with a score of 7.25, while Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood scored slightly higher at 7.38.

The report, which assessed 34 U.S. airports, highlighted that Newark Liberty, servicing 48.9 million passengers in 2024, struggled with on-time performance and passenger satisfaction. Meanwhile, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, located in South Florida, was noted as the second-worst in the nation.

On the brighter side, Salt Lake City International Airport emerged as the top-performing U.S. airport for the second consecutive year, boasting an impressive score of 8.29. Los Angeles International Airport also fared well with an overall score of 8.09, demonstrating strong performance in both punctuality and the quality of food and shopping options.

These rankings provide valuable insights for travelers looking to optimize their airport experiences, underscoring the importance of airport performance in their travel planning decisions.
