Ariana Madix has scored her first Emmy nomination as the host of Peacock‘s Love Island USA.
The television personality joined the ITV America dating series as host in Season 6 after succeeding Sarah Hyland and Arielle Vandenberg, who had previously presented the show.
Joining Madix in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program category are RuPaul Charles of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alan Cumming of The Traitors, Kristen Kish of Top Chef and Jeff Probst of Survivor.
Cumming has won the category for the past two years as the host of Peacock’s The Traitors. Prior to Cumming, RuPaul had taken the Emmy for eight consecutive years.

The category was inaugurated in 2008 with Survivor host Probst taking the Emmy for the first four years.
Madix has now become synonymous with Love Island USA, but was previously a Bravo mainstay as a star of Vanderpump Rules. The television presenter is not new to the Emmys, as Vanderpump Rules was nominated for the first time in 2023, after the infamous “Scandoval.” Madix was at the center of that scandal that rocked Bravo and fractured friendships after she was betrayed by her 10-year boyfriend and best friend. Vanderpump Rules would also be nominated in the same category the following year.

In addition to hosting Love Island USA, Madix is also the host of spinoff competition Love Island Games, which is expected to return for a third season in 2027.
