Peacock Sets ‘Disclosure Day’ Exclusive Streaming Debut Date

Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day will begin streaming exclusively on Peacock October 9, the streamer announced today.

From Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, Disclosure Day, starring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo, is Spielberg’s latest sci-fi epic, chronicling the efforts of a TV meteorologist (Blunt) and math genius whistleblower (O’Connor) as they attempt to outrun a creepy and high-powered shadow organization that’s been covering up decades of evidence about extraterrestrial contact.

The film, released to theaters June 12 to mostly favorable notices, was among this summer’s highest-profile films, scoring $241.3 million at the global box office.

Deadline’s Pete Hammond called the film Spielberg’s “most spiritually moving film in a career that is unmatched in simply making us ask what else is out there, and more importantly why.” He said “Blunt simply has never been better” and “O’Connor matches her beat for beat.”

David Koepp wrote the screenplay from a story by Spielberg. Executive Producers are Adam Somner and Chris Brigham, with Kristie Macosko Krieger and Spielberg producing.
